(MM1457L) TASMANIA · 1899: MNH 2d Pictorials SG231 ex De La Rue Archives comprising an incomplete sheet of 52 units · these stamps were retained by De La Rue to be used as a reference, for samples to clients, for printing staff and so on · note annotations on selvedge - "1 Stamp China 1915" also dated initials "28 January 1901"
Some selvedge wear and light soiling - gum condition better than illustrated (the mutiple curled up whilst photographing thus creating some shadowing which looks like toning. Note stamp "returned" to sheet using paper tape.
