Attractive 'doubleton' for the TASMANIAN MAIL. Some minor peripheral wear and some wrinkles on the back but overall the condition is excellent.

1890s - four different ½d+½d red QV 'doubletons' on small envelopes

Nice selection of PTPO envelopes with a nice range of indicia shades from rose-red to red. One or two minor 'spots of age' however the overall condition is aboce average for this material nowadays.

1890s - four PTPO envelopes with various combinations of QV indicia - two 'doubletons' and two 'tripletons'

Rates made up from various combinations = 1d+1d (2d), 1d+2d (3), ½d+1d+1d (2½d) and ½d+1d+2d (3½d). One of the covers has some light even peripheral discolouratrion with the condition of the others being particularly fine for these granite paper stationery items. (4 envelopes)

1891 - used 1d PTPO Wrapper for Federal Australian Philatelist H&G KE3

Some peripheral wear, etc. but it did travel across the Pacific by ship and then on to Hartford, Connecticut by rail and road so it would have received a few 'bumps' along the way! Not often seen this intact

BN34 postmark ties ½d QV Tablet with clear FIngal cds postmark alongside. Launceston and Boston transit as well as Whitman, Mass arrival backstamps. You can view the reverse by using the larger image option.

Light vertical bend that is not easily seen from the front (as per scan) o/wise condition is fine. ½d QV Tablet tied by clear impression of BN110 postmark (clear Somerset-Cam cds applied near centre-top). Nice item for Second Allocation Barred Numerals collector!

Excellent to fine condition. ½d QV Tablet tied by BN152 postmark impression - clear strike of West Devonport cds alongside. Launceston transit and Dover arrival b/stamps.
